EURIALO
LEARNING AND GUIDANCE TOOLS AGAINST DISCRIMINATION:
RESPECT FOR ALL DIFFERENT SEXUAL CHOICES
AND CULTURAL IDENTITIES

EURIALO starts from the Good Practice produced by the project "TRIANGLE, a transnational project which had the aim of exchanging information and good practice within the framework of the "Community Action Programme to Combat Discrimination" of the EU.

The main objectives of the EURIALO project are:
  • Fighting against discrimination based on sexual diversity and ethnic origin
  • Increasing the awareness, guiding, and training people operating in the school and training systems; training of psycho-social workers and raising their awareness of problems relating to discrimination based on sexual orientation and choices and ethnic diversity.
Starting from the previous Triangle, the EURIALO project proposes the realization of an intervention aiming to the review, upgrading, adaptation (both technological as well as targeted oriented), translation, transfer and dissemination of the final outcome (handbook+tools) of the selected project TRIANGLE.

In particular EURIALO aims to adapt the content of the Good Practice focusing the attention on teachers, trainers and counsellor working within the secondary education (with young people aged 14-20 years) and effectively transfer the final adapted product into a significative number of structures which may be interested in testing and experimenting "on the field" the Good Practice.

The partnership therefore aims to guarantee the adaptation and transfer of the TRIANGLE project outcomes into the VET system. In fact, EURIALO is structured in order to realize an intervention focused on 2 different groups of beneficiaries:
    1. DIRECT TARGETS:
    • Teachers, Trainers
    • Psychologists and counselors working in high schools, as well as in social and medical contexts (e.g. advisory centers)
2.   INDIRECT TARGETS:
    • Young people aged between 14 and 20
The project foresees the experimentation, testing and the validation with and for a group of intermediate beneficiaries, of methodologies and active tools for the raising awareness in the area of diversity and a concomitant action of dissemination of the outcomes within the referring systems that it will concur to catch up, in the medium/long term, a group of beneficiaries represented from the possible final beneficiaries and customers.

The EURIALO project is Carried Out by a transnational partnership composed by: Italy, Belgium, Latvia, Portugal, Spain.
